The Denver Broncos are preparing to take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. In the last four match-ups between these two teams, including playoffs, the Colts are 3-1. Denver is looking to make them 3-2, but they will need a few of their players to have outstanding games to come out on top. Which five Broncos need to have outstanding games to come away with the win?

Since Andrew Luck joined the Indianapolis Colts, they are 3-1 when taking on the Denver Broncos, including a playoff loss that lead to then Broncos head coach John Fox to get fired. The Broncos were at home in that game, and the nation expected them to come out with the win.

Very obviously the Broncos were unprepared, outplayed and overlooking the Colts in that game. Watching over that game you can see that players had given up and even seemed fine with losing. That comes when the head coach doesn’t see that just making the playoffs isn’t enough.

Then they Broncos replaced Fox with Gary Kubiak, who has a  4-13 record against the Colts in his career as a head coach. One of those losses came last season with the Denver Broncos, the rest with the Houston Texans. In order to get his fifth win, he is going to have to have the team ready to play because no matter how it may look on paper, the Colts always play Denver hard.

What will help the head coach is if a few players can take a step farther from just having a good game and get to having an outstanding game. Of course, these players having an outstanding game doesn’t guarantee a win, but it would go a long way to help the team.
