Broncos Offensive Line Big Change

There has been one big change for the Broncos offensive line from their first two games to their last two games. Donald Stephenson to Ty Sambrailo. Sambrailo has been awful in his two games as the starter at right tackle, while Stephenson was solid.

While that was a big change, it doesn’t fully explain the issues with the Broncos run game. Working as a unit is vital, and changing a player hurts the chemistry, yes. However, three of the Broncos offensive linemen has struggled with their run blocking technique the last two games, with one struggling all season.

It isn’t that their failing because of one guy, Sambrailo, or failing as a unit. They have players who are failing as an individual. These offensive linemen have to give the running backs holes by winning their assignments, and that isn’t happening. There is only so much a running back can do, especially when getting hit behind the line of scrimmage consistently.
