The Broncos officially introduced their new coaching staff on Tuesday in what was a revealing and encouraging press conference.

After weeks of speculation and subsequent interviews, new Broncos head coach Vance Joseph officially introduced his new coaching staff during a press conference at Englewood on Tuesday.

The freshly minted group will include a mix of familiar faces and new personalities as the Broncos look to make a quick turn around after missing the playoffs last season.

Joseph’s new staff will include Mike McCoy, who returns as the Broncos offensive coordinator three years after leaving the role to become the head coach of the San Diego Chargers. Taking over the reigns as defensive coordinator will be Joe Woods, who was promoted after doing an exceptional job as the defensive backs coach the last two years in Denver.

Brock Olivo, who spent last season as the special teams coordinator for Kansas City, will take up the same role for the Broncos while Bill Musgrave joins the team as the quarterbacks coach.

With so much turnover in the coaching ranks, Broncos fans will be forgiven for not knowing what to expect from this new look staff moving forward. Thankfully, Tuesday’s press conference offered up some clues as to how Vance Joseph and co will operate in the coming weeks and months.

Here are three key takeaways from the coaches introductory press conference.
