Having missed the playoffs for the first time in five seasons, the Broncos hold the 20th pick of the draft. Who will they take? What are their options?

Despite being just a week removed from the instant classic that was Superbowl LI, teams around the NFL are already in the process of upgrading their rosters and preparing for the upcoming 2017 season that starts in just under seven months time.

A large part of that process involves the NFL draft that is being held in Philadelphia in April. After missing the playoffs for the first time in five seasons, the Broncos find themselves with their highest pick since 2011— the 20th overall selection.

The Broncos certainly have a lot of needs, and the pick comes with a plethora of options for the franchise to mull over. The team is desperate for an upgrade on the offensive line, while the defensive line could also use some depth. General manager John Elway can also be justified in using the pick to draft an offensive weapon to diversify the offense and take the pressure off of Pro Bowl duo Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. There are a number of high-caliber players projected to go in the first round that play OT, WR, and DE, and with so many options, it’s hard to pinpoint which way the Broncos will go.

However, a handful of experts have given their thoughts on how the draft will play out and who the Broncos will take with their first round draft pick. Let’s take a look at some of their forecasts.
