Prediction: Jabrill Peppers, SS, Michigan

Out of all the predictions listed here, this selection makes the least amount of sense. The Broncos have an exceptional strong safety already in TJ Ward and just last season drafted promising young safety Will Parks in the sixth round.

However, the thing about Peppers is that he is a versatile player who can play a number of positions. During his time with the Wolverines, Peppers played safety, linebacker, returned kicks and even played some running back and wide out.

He is a gifted athlete who has the speed to keep up with receivers and the strength to contain tight ends. He is able to pick up on run plays and rush the back from his position. Peppers is an explosive kick returner with the elusiveness and intelligence to pick his lines.

Despite this, some scouts question his football instincts, citing the fact that Peppers only had one interception at the college level. Experts have also observed that Peppers tries to hit opponents instead of wrapping them up.
