The Colorado Buffs and CSU Rams are both gaining momentum as their regular seasons draw to a conclusion. Can they make some noise in March?

Hopes are on the upswing for college hoops in Colorado.

Just 48 hours after the Buffs obliterated Washington State in Boulder, Colorado State earned their own impressive victory by taking down Wyoming on the road.

For Colorado State, the win marked the teams fourth win in a row, and seventh out of their last eight. The Buffs meanwhile, picked up their fourth win in five contests on Sunday as they surge back up the Pac-12 standings.

Both programs are playing their best basketball of the season right now, and are gaining serious momentum as March approaches.
