The Colorado Sports Power Rankings are back with the addition of a new team, the Colorado Rapids. See how they, and every other team fares in this weeks rankings.

It’s a jam-packed edition of the Colorado Sports Power Rankings this week with the addition of a new team, the Colorado Rapids.

The Rapids kicked off their 2017 MLS season at home this week, hoping to take it one step further this year and make it all the way to the MLS final.

While the Rapids’ season is just beginning, the college basketball season is coming to its conclusion. Both the Colorado State Rams Men’s and Women’s teams are flying into the Mountain West tournament and it reflects in our rankings this week.

The CU Buffs Men’s team also enters the postseason with some momentum, while the women’s team is unfortunately out of the Pac-12 tournament after going down by a single point to Washington State in round one.

The usual suspects still feature in our rankings; the Nuggets, Avs, Mammoth along with the ever consistent Denver University Pioneers Hockey Program.

Let’s take a look at how the Colorado Sports Power Rankings play out this week.
