Denver Nuggets

Last Week: 6

The Nuggets were having such a positive week before dropping another ‘should win’ game against the Hornets at home. They dismantled both the Bulls and Bucks on the road as Nikola Jokic returned to form with two, magnificent triple-doubles in as many games. Denver showed they have the talent to beat quality opponents this week, now, they need to show they can beat the lesser teams before it spoils their season.

Colorado Buffaloes Men’s Basketball

Last Week: 6

The Buffs secured the seventh seed in the Pac-12 tournament with back-to-back victories this week, however, the games couldn’t have been any more different. First, the Buffs took down Stanford in a free-flowing, high paced 91-72 game before grinding out a slow, hard-fought 54-46 win. CU finish the season with a 18-13 overall record and a 8-10 record in the Pac-12. Senior guard Derrick White will lead the Buffs into battle against Washington State in round one of the Pac-12 tournament on Wednesday.

Colorado Mammoth

Last Week: 4

The Mammoth retain their spot at number four in our rankings thanks to a dominant offensive display on the weekend. The Mammoth obliterated Calgary 18-9 and peppered the goal with a barrage of shots throughout the entirety of the contest. Eli McLaughlin was the standout for the Mammoth, recording four goals and three assists while Stephen Keogh contributed three goals and two assists. The win moves the team equal to Saskatchewan in terms of wins, while being just one loss behind them for first place in the West Division.
