Denver Nuggets Post-Season Grades and Awards ’17-’18

C. Denver Nuggets. NIKOLA JOKIC. A+. What can we say about Jokic that hasn’t been covered?  He’s the focus of this Nuggets team, the player with the most league recognition and a budding superstar.  The growth of Jokic’s game even within the season was remarkable. The Serbian star is a facilitator first.  That makes his almost 19 points per game that much more impressive.  He is the engine that runs the Nuggets offense.  I can’t think of another team where the performance of the roster is so dependent on one player.  Nikola has an uncanny knack for finding teammates in need of baskets.  If your shot isn’t falliing, dive to the basket, Jokic will probably find you. <p>Nikola averaged 18.5 points, 10.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.</p>
