B+. So much has been said about Barton. He had a volatile season but to be fair he had a volatile role with the Nuggets. Equal parts game saver and game wrecker Barton is a polarizing figure for the Nuggets. Where Thrill earns high marks is in his flexibility. Barton started or played at three positions. Will filled each role the Nuggets asked of him. He was a leader when leadership was needed. His game miscues have also been overblown. He was the Nuggets most effective player in the last 5 minutes of games. Depending on the Nuggets cap status over the summer it may be that we see Barton starting at Small Forward next season.
Barton averaged 15.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.1 minutes per game.
.
