Also, how has KC managed to escape criticism for their mascot? There are annual calls for the Washington Redskins to dump the racist name. The Cleveland Indians have done away with Chief Wahoo, their mascot. I’m sure the Atlanta Braves have done some socially conscious thing to address the nature of their mascot. Not Kansas City.
