John Elway and the Denver Broncos completed a highly successful NFL Draft on day three, adding depth at positions of need.

The Broncos are looking to quickly wash away the distaste from last season.  With shrewd signings and a great draft, the contender attitude is back at Dove Valley.

All eight of Elway’s 2017 draft choices are still on the Broncos roster.  Although nobody stands out as a “steal” of the draft Garrett Bolles showed a lot of the upside that made him the 20th pick. DeMarcus Walker should get time along the defensive line, moreso if Adam Gotsis’ legal problems take him off the Broncos roster. Isaiah McKenzie has some work to do but has big-play potential as a returner. D’Angelo Henderson is one of only two backs currently on the roster.  Jake Butt is a bit of a question mark returning from injury.  He has the potential to start at Tight End.

That’s a solid if unspectacular draft that received middling grades.  It didn’t translate into success for the Broncos but it addressed left tackle and added depth.

We’ve detailed the first two rounds individually, here we’ll cover the third through seventh round selections briefly:
