Buffs Position Battle: Who will replace Phillip Lindsay in Boulder?

1. Kyle Evans

Evans dislocated his hip in the first spring practice of 2017 and fought back to play in eight games in the 2017 season, albeit very limited. He only managed three total touches, two rushing and one receiving for eight yards.

As a sophomore in 2016, Evans showed what he is capable of on the football field. He played in all 13 games tallying 346 rushing yards and 114 more receiving.

Fully recovered from his injury, Evans will see a lot of time in the Buffs backfield this season and could be in line to be their main tailback during his final season in Boulder.
