Buffs Position Battle: Who will replace Phillip Lindsay in Boulder?

3. Travon McMillian

McMillian is the name to watch this spring and summer. The graduate transfer from Virginia Tech will have one season of eligibility for Colorado and will do the most with that little time. McMillian ranks 16th all-time on the Hokies rushing list, recording 2,153 yards and 16 touchdowns while catching 35 passes for 351 yards and another seven TDs.

He isn’t eligible to participate in spring practice, but when he joins the team this summer he has the athletic ability to win the starting job outright.
