Buffs Position Battle: Who will replace Phillip Lindsay in Boulder?

4. Alex Fontenot
Fontenot is the youngest back on this list. Only a redshirt freshman, Fontenot didn’t play in 2017 but was named the Fred Casotti Award winner as the team’s most improved offensive back (quarterback or tailback) following spring practices.
Fontenot has a promising career ahead of him, but with more experienced players ahead of him, he will need to continue to show improvement to see a lot of playing time in 2018.
