The Rockies six game win streak came to an inglorious halt against the Angels on Wednesday taking a loss to the tune of 8-0.

Rookie Jaime Barria (RHP #51 3-1 2.45 ERA 13 K) started for the Angels with only two wins under his belt so far.  His Angels did not let him down with support in the offense department and he had a stunning 5 1/3 innings, striking out seven and keeping the Rockies scoreless.  The staggering lack of offense for the Colorado Rockies would unfortunately carry over into their next series with the Brewers on Thursday.

Tyler Anderson (LPH #44 2-1 4.23 ERA 40 K) was the pitching start for the Rox.  Unfortunately, the big bats of the Angels fell into his 5 innings and he caught four of the eight earned runs.
