Paul Millsap is Darth Vader.  The picture above makes me wish Millsap had gone to ‘Nova.  He didn’t but still a cool shot of Vader.

Like the Sith Lord, Millsap is big, he is strong and he is imposing.

He also has moves you wouldn’t expect from an old guy and a messed-up left arm/wrist.

We’ve made several comparisons between the Nuggets and the Warriors. The Dubs are elegant scorers and have been wildly successful, obviously.  The thing is, there’s been teams before with crazy outside shooters.  What separates Golden State is Draymond Green.  Both for his defensive ability and for his toughness.

Millsap is currently the Nuggets Draymond.  He, along with Plumlee bring that physical edge and defensive prowess to an otherwise finesse team.

That’s how he earns the comparison to Vader.  In an Empire full of stuffy bureaucrats, Vader is the tough guy, the tip of the sword, the intimidator.

It’s not that Millsap is mean or dirty, he’s just…….tough.  One wonders with Sith, though.

There are always two.
