Colorado Rockies: Clawing back into NL West Race

It’s been awhile since we checked in with the boys over on Blake Street.
I have a confession, I am a Nuggets guy. I’v been known to refresh Woj or NBA.com like a crazy person for, well, nuggets. I love the Rockies, I have more than a passing knowledge of them, both now and historically but there is a noticeable Nuggets lean to my writing.
I do what most local fans do, I go a bit dormant when Colorado enters their June swoon phase that often submarines their seasons. I’m guilty of that most-reviled sports trope: Bandwagoning. I promise, it’s not intentional and this being my first season writing about all Colorado sports, I had intended to stay diligent.
I didn’t, so bear with me as I try to wade back into the depths of the Rox season. It doesn’t hurt that they are 7-3 so far in July.
