6. USC Trojans

I might get killed for this, but I have the Trojans taking a major step back in 2018.

Sam Darnold, Ronald Jones, Deontay Burnett are all gone and there is no clear-cut favorite to step into those jobs and compete right away.

Part of the reason is freshman phenom QB JT Daniels wasn’t on campus for Spring practices and Jones’ replacement Stephen Carr was out after surgery on his back.

The team still has talent, but with out a cohesive unit on the field, we could see a similar outcome of the 2015 season when this team went 8-6 and lost in the Holiday Bowl.
