Offensively, Nolan Arenado blasted his 26th and had 5 total bases for the contest.  Charlie Blackmon doubled and had two hits. CarGo continued to pay off for Colorado, slamming a double of his own on a 3-hit day.  The Rockies pounded out 10 hits including 3 extra-base hits, setting the tone for the series.  Oakland’s Sean Manea was touched up by Colorado this day as the Rox handed him his first loss in four outings.

For July, the Rockies ERA is under 1.40, the best monthly mark in team history.

Saturday would see the Rockies’ Antonio Senzatela match up against Brett Anderson for the A’s.
