Denver Nuggets: Walkout Songs We’d Pick for Denver Starters

Bicu Tu – Gru

Okay, while looking for Serbian musicians, I came across Bicu Tu from  Gru and anticipated the language barrier would make it hard to pick a song.  This was the one that was recommended. It’s surprisingly funky and good, even from 1996.  A further listen brought me Stara Skola, Nova Skola, equally groovy though a bit harder.

The tie-in was natural, Jokic continues to surprise, even as he’s spent the bulk of the last two seasons putting up stratospheric numbers.  Those that have watched all of his games know that his rise is no surprise.  I’d bet to Serbians, the quality of Gru’s offerings is no surprise either.

Just like it’s nice to discover new things musically, the NBA is about to discover how much the Joker brings to the table.

Give the songs a listen, it’s worth the time.
