Other Possible Moves

Is it possible that The Broncos might get trade offers for Linebacker Shane Ray who’s in the last year of his contract? Or maybe one of the young running backs like De’Angelo Henderson Sr.?

Wide receiver Jordan Taylor will almost certainly start the season on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list, which will allow him to return after six weeks. Whether or not he returns probably depends on the health and success of the other receivers.

Could Ron Leary, who’s been battling a sore knee all training camp, be put on the Injured Reserve and designated to return? That would certainly change the offensive line roster until he’s healthy.

Could another team trade for Paxton Lynch? Maybe someone else would want to gamble on his athletic ability. I think The Broncos would listen to any offers at this point.

Could there be another shocker at the safety position?  I love the guy but could The Broncos consider keeping a young safety instead of Darian Stewart?  It’s not exactly a cap-friendly move but they don’t always let that stop them (see: Menelik Watson).

There are all of these questions, and there is always a person or two that ends up on Injured Reserve that we don’t expect. That makes The Bubble Machine much more unpredictable, and more difficult to beat.
