3 Reasons Colorado will win…

1. Steven Montez takes the leap we all expect

It’s been a hot debate all summer–how will Montez perform in his second-year as the Buffs full-time starter. He showed brilliant flashes as a redshirt freshman replacing Sefo Luifau. But when he was given the reigns last season, he struggled.

I profiled Montez this summer, and according to the coaching staff he has made great strides not only on the football field, but how he prepares off of it.

The Rams defense was bad against the pass last year and looked very suspect in their opening game against Hawaii, so Montez has the potential to put up big numbers.
