2. The Rams defense actually stops the pass

The Buffs couldn’t stop the run last season and the Rams couldn’t stop the pass.

CSU was 97th in the nation against the pass last season and in their Week 1 game against Hawaii it looks like they got worse in the offseason.

Hawaii quarterback Cole McDonald looked like a Heisman contender throwing for 418 yards with three scores and zero turnovers.

The Rams secondary was stuck in long coverage situations because the pass rush was non-existent. If they give Montez time to throw on Friday he will pick them apart.
