The 3 hardest games are…….

Since the last three teams are division rivals we profiled earlier in the piece, we are combining them into one page.

3. @Oakland Raiders

Again, the Khalil Mack situation is significant, the Raiders defense is very different without him.  Rumors persist, so we will assume that Mack will not be on the Raiders roster.  That should be enough to give Denver an edge but at the Black Hole with a healthy Carr is still a tall order.

Raiders 27-17

2. @Los Angeles Chargers

I’m trying not to buy into the hype but a case has been made for the Chargers to win the AFC West.  I’ll bite, for now but in this game, in front of a sparse crowd, I think Denver prevails.

Broncos 31-14

3. @Kansas City Chiefs

As much as I want to find a way Denver wins this game, that involves a bunch of injuries to Kansas City and I can’t get behind that.  Great season for Denver but Arrowhead was a tall order for the best of Broncos teams.

Chiefs 28-20

There it is, 11-5 and a playoff berth.
