Cleveland is excited about this team.

It would be hard not to be, the team scored Baker Mayfield in the Draft, the latest in the long, sad quarterback drama that has plagued Cleveland since Bernie Kosar (We realize that those Browns are the Ravens).

You have to feel something for the Browns and the absurd bad luck they’ve had at the position.  I pull for Cleveland, with LeBron gone there’s a hero deficit and maybe Mayfield is finally the guy to rise to the occasion for the Land.

Unfortunately, they are at the bottom of that Vegas win projection list at (6).  Coach Hue Jackson will bring a Cleveland team that was brutal, offensively in the 2017 season.

To put it in perspective, the Broncos offense was, by any standard, bad last season.  They still finished tied for 17th in total offense.

Cleveland was 24th.

With the acquisition of Bradley Chubb to bookend on Miller, bad offenses and bad offensive lines are going to have serious problems with the Denver defense.

Best wishes for the Brownies and the Dawg Pound but this one should be a lock for Denver.
