The former rivalry of Colorado and Nebraska is renewed as the team’s battle at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday.

The last time these two team’s met was a 45-17 Husker victory in 2010 but most CU fans remember the epic battle for the Big 12 championship in 2001. The Buffaloes prevailed 62-36 as they ran up-and-down on the Nebraska defense–but the Huskers went on to win the National Championship that same season.

Both programs are no longer what they once were. However, there is hope on the horizon.
