Fresh off of the Nuggets Media Day it’s time to look at how we expect the Nuggets players to grow and what we think they can accomplish.

We’ve seen Jamal Murray progress pretty rapidly through the ranks over his first two seasons in Denver.  From deposing lottery-pick Emmanuel Mudiay and veteran Jameer Nelson to establishing himself as the member of the Core that has the highest ceiling, we’ve seen incredible growth in a short time from the young man.

The 21 year-old guard from Kitchener, Ontario and The University of Kentucky has a drive and a determination to his game the have excited fans and Nuggets coaches alike.  Jamal made great strides in his second year, first as the full-time point guard.  Where is the next point on his curve, what should we expect to see from Murray in the upcoming season?

Statistical improvement is a given, more assists, fewer turnovers, higher three-point percentage.  Those gains are expected from everyone, what we’d like to see from Jamal are as much about attitude and leadership as numbers.
