The Colorado Rockies pulled off a heartbreaker in the Cubs Wild-Card game but now have a tough series ahead against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Rockies were not able to secure the National League West title but they did earn their way into the Wild-Card game.  They beat the Cubs after 13 gut wrenching innings and the series against the Milwaukee Brewers will commence Thursday, October 4, at Miller Field.

The Brewers and the Rockies are pretty closely matched and this should prove to be a super fun series for fans.  I know the Rockies fans are ready for something great to happen this year.  The club has been on a roll and caught fire just in time to take it to the next level in post-season play.

There are three places where the Brewers have an advantage.  If these hurdles are contained the Rockies advantages will fill-in to lead to a series victory to meet the winner of the Dodgers/Braves series.  The winner of that series will represent the NL at the World Series.

The Rox have their own advantages too, third-base and short stop are advantage Rockies.  The starting pitcher rotation is among the best out there and better than Milwaukee for sure.  Nationally the Rockies are not favored to win but I think you get a different picture of this squad simply by looking at stats and numbers.  This Rockies team is not the Rockies team of even five weeks ago.  Anything really is possible.
