CHJ is back on a one-year deal.

Cornerbacks (9)

Projected Starters: Chris Harris, Kareem Jackson, Bryce Callahan

Backups: Isaac Yiadom, De’Vante Bausby, Horace Richardson

Bench: Trey Johnson, Stephen Linden, Alijah Holder

The starting three is a no brainer with Harris, Jackson, and Callahan, but from there the chances get very murky.

Isaac Yiadom is next in line with high acceleration and man coverage talent followed by Bausby next as he’s shown he can tackle.

The remaining four corners are going to be one of the hottest position battles to watch as anyone could improve or decrease their chances on the slightest action.

Horace Richardson looks to be the favorite to take the sixth spot as he was activated but did not play last year.

Alijah Holder could be a dark horse candidate with an impressive size of 6-1 181 lbs, but will he be able to translate his skills to the NFL?

-Safeties (7)

Projected Starters: Will Parks, Justin Simmons, Su’a Cravens

Backups: Jamal Carter, Trey Marshall

Bench: Dymonte Thomas, Shamarko Thomas

Parks, Simmons, and Cravens all have been big playmakers for an off-and-on Broncos secondary, but expect the majority of the safeties to still make the 53 man roster.

The talent is deep at this position, but Jama Carter and Trey Marshall are next in line to make the cut as their efforts are always 110 percent and lack costly mistakes.

Dymonte and Shamarko Thomas are both talented zone coverage and hard-hitting players, but the mismatches they get often burn them for costly yards.

Despite that, all of the safeties on the list here could make significant contributions to the

upcoming season.
