If Jason Verrett comes off of the board before Denver’s selection, they could be looking at another cornerback. Bradley Roby jumped on the scene during his sophomore season as well, deflecting 19 passes to go along with 63 tackles and 2 interceptions. This past season which was his junior year, he would earn 2013 All-Big Ten First Team Honors as he collected 69 total tackles, 54 solo, 3 interceptions to go with 13 pass deflections.

"Here is more on the scouts take from CBSSports.com on Roby. Strengths: Roby has world-class speed with the click-and-close ability to play tight coverage and mirror receivers all over the field. 4.39-second 40-yard speed and a good fighting attitude to battle for the ball. Weaknesses: Lacks preferred size for the position. Can be late looking for the ball. Tendency to concede underneath throws, although some might have been scheme-based in college. Must prove he can drive on the ball and limit plays in front of him."

Denver’s secondary could use a little boost from a player like Roby who is quick to the ball. In the Super Bowl, Denver gave up way too many deep passes and sweeps for big gains. Roby’s quickness and athleticism can take him along way in today’s NFL.
