Jorge got off to a rough start to begin the season where he quickly saw his record go from 0-0 to 0-3 in four starts. Ever since then, De La Rosa picked up his game as he now sits with a record of 10-6 entering the All-Star Break. This selection shouldn’t surprise anyone due to the fact that De La Rosa has been the most consistent starter in the rotation while other key starters have missed significant time due to injury.

De La Rosa, 33, has won four-straight games dating back to June 24th, giving up just 11 earned runs over 25 innings pitched. He picked effectively well in his last two starts, giving up just 3 earned over a span of 12 innings.

As De La Rosa progressively got better throughout the season, teams are now expressing trade interest for the veteran lefty. The Baltimore Orioles, most recently, have kept tabs on the native of Monterrey, Mexico.
