Jorge De La Rosa, Starting Pitcher:
De La Rosa, 33, has pitched exceptionally well of late for the Colorado Rockies and has already been linked to teams such as the Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and Toronto Blue Jays.
The southpaw is currently 10-6 on the season after a rough beginning, sitting with an ERA of 4.29. In his past three starts prior to facing the Washington Nationals, De La Rosa gave up just four earned runs through 18.0 innings, surrendering 13 hits while striking out 8.
Jorge De La Rosa might not be the ace pitcher on another team but he is a serviceable number two option. He has problems at times with command which shows with his 46 walks over 113.1 innings pitched this season, but he unlike many other pitchers can work out of the jam.
