Wide Receivers Need to Fulfill Their Duties

The Denver Broncos wide receiving corps need to a better job of hauling in passes. Too many times, over the past few weeks, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos dropped a catchable ball, with Demaryius Thomas leading the way in drops. Moreover, due to the drops, Demaryius Thomas has not been a driving factor for the Denver Broncos’ offense.

For the Denver Broncos to find success on offense, their wide receivers must do their jobs and catch the ball. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders had pivotal drops in the playoffs this season, and the Denver Broncos must keep their loose ends in check, and that starts with their wide receivers stepping up to the plate.

Peyton Manning struggles to throw the ball downfield, so the Denver Broncos must make the most out of their short completions. But, if the wide receivers cannot hold onto the ball, that makes it tough for the offense to get going and pick up chunks of yards on a consistent basis. The offense must avoid long yardage situations in Super Bowl 50.
