Denver Broncos with a Tough Task

The Denver Broncos have their hands full going up against a Carolina Panthers team that only lost one game all season. With the likes of Cam Newton and company, the Denver Broncos’ defense must come up big in stopping the sure-to-be NFL MVP. With a mix of stellar defense and capable offense, the Denver Broncos pose a threat to spoil the Panthers’ winning ways.

The key to victory for the Denver Broncos is to contain Cam Newton, because he is a one-man show for the Panthers. The Panthers’ defense is no joke either, with Josh Norman capable of shadowing any top-tier receiver in the NFL. However, the Denver Broncos have T.J. Ward and Aqib Talib to help out in coverage, with Bradley Roby flying under the radar.

The Denver Broncos enter Super Bowl 50 as a 5.5 point underdog to the Panthers, but if the Denver Broncos take care of business, they can walk away winners. Peyton Manning hinted at the possibility of this being his last year in the NFL, and he would love to go out on top, similar to Denver Broncos’ GM John Elway.

Just two years ago, the Denver Broncos put together one of the worst performances in Super Bowl history, being blown out by the Seattle Seahawks. However, they have a chance to re-write the script and walk away Super Bowl champions. Now headlined by a high-powered defense, the Denver Broncos do not need to focus so much on putting points on the board.

Look for the Denver Broncos to come out with a chip on their shoulder, because this defense feels they have been slighted all season. If they control the ball and limit Cam Newton, the Denver Broncos could dominate this matchup.
