Denver Outlaws Win in Charlotte, Back in Playoff Hunt
Denver’s Major League Lacrosse team, the Denver Outlaws, scored a key victory on the road Saturday. It was the team’s first road win of the season and keeps them alive in the MLL playoff hunt, where they are now just one game back.
Next up, the Outlaws are traveling to play the Rochester Rattlers tomorrow evening. Then, they return to Denver to host a season-ending game against the Charlotte Hounds on Saturday!
Former CU Buff Josh Scott Will Play in Europe
Josh Scott, 23, had a memorable four-year run at the University of Colorado and went undrafted before hooking up with the Nuggets’ Summer League team this July. The 6-foot-10 Scott only appeared in two games and logged just 11 minutes for the Nuggets in Las Vegas.
Now, BSN Denver reports he’s heading to Europe to continue working on his dreams of a pro-basketball career.

Sandy Clough is Back
Veteran sports talker Sandy Clough returned to The Fan 104.3 this week with a new daily radio show that’s all his own.
“As one of the most recognizable voices in Denver Sports Radio history, it’s great to have Sandy in a timeslot where he has flourished in the past,” said KKFN’s program director Armen Williams. “We’re excited to have his unmistakable presence leading into the second half of the day.”
Clough’s absence is being left unexplained by both the station and host, likely because it involved a dispute with management.
