Colorado Rockies Stun the Mets — AGAIN!

Earlier this week we reported that the Rockies were being given only a 2% chance of making the MLB playoffs by Nate Silver’s computer models.  They’re now at 9% and climbing!

Denver Outlaws End Season in Winning Form

The Denver Outlaws (8-6) finished the regular season with their sixth straight victory, keeping pace in the postseason race with a 15-12 win over the Charlotte Hounds (7-6) before a crowd of 6,741 at Mile High Stadium.  

A few weeks ago, the Outlaws were facing almost certain elimination from the MLL playoffs. Now, they seem likely — though not yet guaranteed — to have secured a spot.  Today’s win also gives the Outlaws the longest win streak of any Major League Lacrosse team this season.

Colin Cowherd Hates the 2016 Denver Broncos

Colin Cowherd, host of “The Herd” on Fox Sports 1, believes that the world champion Denver Broncos will finish the 2016 season with a 6-10 record.

To back up his point, the radio talker offered four fairly lame reasons that the Broncos would fail to even make it to the playoffs this season.

Denver Nuggets Will Play in London

The NBA announced that the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers will be travelling to London for a regular-season game in 2017.  It’s part of the NBA Global Games initiative that spreads a handful of regular season games to major international population centers like London, Madrid, Shanghai and Mexico City.
