Von Miller: My body is a sports car
For anyone who was worried that Von Miller wouldn’t be in top physical shape following a summer-long contract battle… don’t be.
“Still the Ferrari,” said Miller about his body. “It’s just the 2016 sport version. It still does the exact same stuff. It’s got some better features. Zero to 60, probably a little bit faster.”
“Von is ready to go,” confirmed Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips.
“We’ll still wean him in,” he added. “But I think maybe they thought with no off-season that he wouldn’t be ready physically. It looked like he is to me. He moves tremendously well, and he’s working hard at it. He wants to be a leader, and that’s important too.”
Head coach Gary Kubiak said that Miller will begin seeing full reps soon, but don’t expect to see much of him during the pre-season. His first full performance will come during the team’s regular season opener — a re-match of Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers.

“That’s what everybody wants to see, right?” Miller asked.
“I want to go out there and be that leader for everybody,” he said. “I want to go out here and work, just grind every single day.”
The superstar middle linebacker recently inked a six-year, $114.5 million contract that makes him the highest paid Denver Bronco in franchise history.
“I got a different mindset this year around training camp than what I had last year,” Miller added. “It just feels different. I’m just here with all my guys, got the same core guys that we did last year. It means a lot more just to go out there and play. It’s always meant a lot for me to go out there and play for my teammates, but now it means a lot more.”
Tens of millions more, in fact.
Enough to buys lots of real-world Ferraris.
