With NFL training camps already in full swing, we decided to take a look at where the Vegas odds-makers think each NFL franchise stands right now.

We took a look at online betting site Bovada and pulled the numbers, ranking each of the 32 NFL franchises in order from least to most likely to win Super Bowl 51.

Burke’s take: “It took a historically great Denver defense to slow the Panthers last season, perceived offensive line issues and all. (Atlanta also did it, randomly, in a Week 16 upset that ended Carolina’s perfect regular season.) So, the question with Josh Norman departing is: Does the defense even need to be that good? That unit should be just fine, thanks to its front seven, but the Carolina offense hung 500 points on the board last season and did so without No. 1 receiver Kelvin Benjamin.”

BOTTOM LINE: The Panthers averaged 31.2 points per game last year, but Cam Newton fell apart when it really mattered. The last time a team that lost a Super Bowl returned to the big game the following season was the Buffalo Bills in 1993.
