Denver Broncos Focus on Depth With Day Three Picks

Iowa inside linebacker Josey Jewell joins the Broncos defense as a fourth round pick.

Two places Jewell stood out at the combine were in the 3-cone drill, which he finished in 6.8 seconds and hand size.  Valuable tools for a ball-hawking middle linebacker.

Jewell could be invaluable for the disruptive defense Elway is building.  With Miller and Chubb coming off the ends and the revamped No Fly Zone. the last piece was an inside linebacker with strong ball skills.

The Broncos have found a perfect situational guy in Jewell.
