Friday night lights and win number two for the Rockies in the series.

Friday night looked like a pitching match-up to beat all.  Rockies starter was Kyle Freeland (LHP #21 4-4 3.17 ERA 49 K) who was looking for his third win straight after his Brewers shut out last Saturday.

The Giants hurler would be Derek Holland (LHP #45 2-5 4.94 ERA 42 K) who just threw a scoreless outing himself.

While neither would walk away from this game throwing a scoreless anything Freeland would fare much better.  Freeland pitched 6.2 and Holland six and five and six hits respectively. Each give up a home run, Freeland gets the win, Holland the loss, final score 6-1 Colorado Rockies.  Looks like my advice was being taken, right?  It wasn’t.
