Imagining Nuggets Players as Star Wars Characters

Mason Plumlee, seen here taking in the May 19th Celtics-Cavs game, is the mighty Chewbacca.

At last we have the mighty Chewbacca.  Even Han had to have an extraordinary co-pilot. The yin and yang of Han and Chewie resonates in Plumlee and Jokic.

They tried working side-by-side with varying success.  When they are at their best, though is with Han in the lead and Chewie right behind him. Be it Yoda, Han or Rey, Chewie is the ultimate support guy.

The best thing is, Chewie chooses to be support.  He absolutely has the chops to be a main guy.  He could (and still may) have his own gig, where he’s the center of attention but he likes the idea of being part of something bigger than himself.

Also, both Plumlee and Chewie are super tall.
