Rox prevail again 4-1.

Antonio Senzatela would not disappoint, giving the Rockies a strong 5-2/3 innings.  The  Venezuelan righty recorded six strikeouts against only one earned run in earning the decision, his fourth of the season.

For the Athletics, Brett Anderson’s day started well, blowing through the top of the Rockies order in the first.  The only blemish for the stanza was a walk to Nolan Arenado. The second wouldn’t be as kind as the Rockies led off with a CarGo double and a Tom Murphy triple.  A Pat Valaika single and Senzatela sac bunt gave the Rockies all the runs (2) they would need to finish off Oakland and secure a series win.

The Rox were not done, adding solo shots from Arenado in the third and Valaika in the fourth to close out the day’s scoring.

Seunghwan Oh made his Rockies debut, surrendering a walk and a hit in a scoreless seventh inning.

No small feat, taking the series, the A’s had been among the hottest teams in baseball.

On to the Sunday series finale, German Marquez matching up against Frankie Montas.
