Acosta and Nicholson Come Up Big in Colorado Rapids Win Over Galaxy

Well, I did say the Colorado Rapids vs. the L.A. Galaxy was a must win match for the Rapids and we were not disappointed.  The Rapids came out looking refreshed and energized and beat the Galaxy 2-1. 

I may not have painted the brightest picture of what I thought would happen, but much to my surprise, the Colorado Rapids pulled it out at the end and made the game an exciting victory that was very much needed.

I was pretty pessimistic about what this game held for Rapids fans for reasons I think were pretty justified, based on a rather disappointing season up to this point, before the game started.  The Colorado Rapids, though, looked like a whole new team in this win against the L.A. Galaxy

.  They were aggressive and confident with one miscommunication that led to the single Galaxy goal.  The whole team was firing on all cylinders but there were some standout reasons for this win.
