The Colorado Rapids took on the L.A. Galaxy in arematchon a different landscape on Tuesday.

Once the second half of the match started the pace picked up. Allfour goalswere scored in the second half and both teams went back and forth alternating scores.
The Rapids didn’t come up with the three points to rocket them closer to a playoff appearance but neither did the L.A. Galaxy. The match ended in a draw and both teams walked away with the singlepoint. The Rapids should count this one as a win in the confidence department as it was a hard-fought match on the road after a relatively short two days off between matches .

What exactly happened to the Rapids in this game where they didn’t walk away with a win? Again, I think the Colorado Rapids need to count this one as an unofficial win. Could they have done better? Possibly but it was an extremely difficult task to begin with.
The win would have required the Rapids to play near perfect and then have the Galaxy make some mistakes. The Galaxy made their mistakes, but the Colorado Rapids didn’t play the perfect game. They came close though.
