Hakeem Nicks could be a bit of a risk due to the injuries he has piled up in his short NFL career. Nicks is undoubtedly one of the top receivers in the game when healthy, it is all about staying on the field for the 26-year-old. Nicks could fill in as Denver’s number two receiver if Eric Decker does in fact accept a contract elsewhere.

Nicks had a solid 2013 season but was slowed due to injury. The wide-out would catch 56 passes for 896 yards but would fail to collect a touchdown. Nicks 2011 season was the one that caught the attention of fans and executives. He would record a career-high in receiving yards with 1,192 yards on 76 receptions to go along with 7 touchdowns.

According to Rotoworld.com, the New England Patriots are a so-called potential fit for wide-out. Which would make sense since the Patriots were deprived of targets last season due to the injury to Rob Gronkowski and the injury-prone Danny Amendola who replaced Wes Welker. As for the prospects of Nicks coming to Denver, Peyton Manning would take advantage of the signing; there is no doubt about it.
