There is so much to work out with the status of the Broncos as the NFL Draft approaches.

The Broncos have the 5th pick, earned via a dismal performance in 2017.  They’ve added Su’a Cravens, a DB from the Redskins that has had some personal issues.  He looks to be past that and ready to contribute, a good pickup for the Broncos.

They’ve also added Case Keenum, QB.  An undrafted 2012 prospect out of the University of Houston, Keenum has bounced around the league but his performance has improved each of his six seasons in the NFL.

Considered undersized by current NFL standards at six-foot-one and 190lbs, Keenum is an interesting gamble for the Broncos.  What the team does with the fifth pick on April 27th will go a long way to determine the quality of the Keenum acquisition.  Pair him with Saquon Barkley?  Use him to mentor Baker Mayfield or Josh Rosen?

Whichever direction the Broncos take at quarterback, there’s still too many questions on the offensive line.  The quarterback or running back will matter little if the Broncos don’t address the front five.

The clock is ticking on Von Miller, it would be a shame to waste any more of his prime years.
