Communication is almost as important as defense this week.
Breakdowns in communication have to be minimized in order to not give up easy goals like last week when the Rapids gave up an easy put back on miscommunication between Tommy Smith and Kortne Ford. No free goals given up needs to be a key in this match with the Earthquakes and going forward this season.
Offensive communication needs to stay strong like the Rapids vs. Galaxy match where overall passing accuracy was at 85%. Clean passing will lead to an aggressive attach and will get the Colorado Rapids into scoring position on offense.
